Dear Friends and Church Partners,
Just a quick update for you…
Deputation
update:
It’s been a
constant packing, unpacking and repacking of suitcases the last few months. We
had a blast with family in California in May and we were able to speak at 3
different churches and meet with several of our CA supporters. In early June we
went to Texas for orientation (more below) and now we are back in Utah and
continue to share at churches and connect with our supporters.
Support
level:
We are currently
at 52% of our needed pledged support to return to Thailand. Praise the
Lord! Please pray that the remaining 48% comes in quickly. We need one-time
gifts and we really need monthly partners. Our goal departure date is
September, only 2 months from now!
We need you!:
For our
financial and prayer partners…our story is your story…it’s only together that
we can reach the Isaan. We would love to speak at your church, Bible study, or
small group.
Commission
to Every Nation (CTEN):
We just
returned from our 3 day orientation with Commission to Every Nation (CTEN) in
Texas and we
were so
thrilled by their pastoral care, their finance & publications departments,
and how they keep things SIMPLE! There were 24 missionaries at the orientation
and heading all over the world. One couple is also heading to Chiang Mai. It
was an encouraging time!
Family
update
Isobel
turned 1 on June 11th. Hard to believe a year ago we were in Chiang
Mai having her! She has been a precious gift to our whole family.
Prayer for
the Isaan/our future team
Please
continue to lift up the Isaan in
your
prayers, specifically those living
in Kalasin
Province. That our good Father would be preparing their hearts for His message
of reconciliation and forgiveness.
Please also
pray for the future of the FCF team in Kalasin. That He would show our team
clearly how we are to pursue the people of Kalasin.
