May 2016 Update - Cold Spring, Missing Mangoes + Off to Cali we go !

Dear Friends and Church Partners,

Spring in Utah means blooming trees and warmer (but still not warm) weather. Currently in Thailand, they are experiencing record high heat in their hottest season of the year. Although we are missing the sweet mangoes that flourish this time of year, we are thankful to be here for now and wearing sweatshirts!

Our neighbor “Julie”
“Julie” is a neighbor girl who is the niece of Grandma Pam. Julie‘s mom and dad Passed away when she was young. Grandma Pam and her husband took Julie into their home and have raised her. When we first heard a friend telling Julie about God, Julie said she had no interest in Him. Julie is friends with one of the Christians in Sahatsakhan and attended one of the church camps with us last year where the gospel was communicated. She just recently attended another Christian camp. Please pray for Julie and Grandma Pam’s family, that the Holy Spirit will open their eyes to the truth and beauty of God.

Reporting to churches/sharing
Most of our time has been busy with the organization change. However, we have shared at Ephraim Church of the Bible and Clearfield Community Church. We were also given the opportunity to share at a house church in Park City, Utah. We have been able to meet with a few supporters in Utah but we still have many more of you to see!!

We will be visiting partners and speaking at churches in California from May 11 through May 23rd. We would love to see you!

Family update
Our family is thoroughly enjoying this blessed season back in the US. Moriah has been able to take a few dance lessons, something not possible where we were living in Thailand. Isobel is now 10 months and has taken a few steps! Both girls very much enjoy our landlord’s dogs. Jason and Jenn are both enjoying Bible and book studies (in English) and serving in our local church. After almost 3 years, Jason finally preached again! We’ve enjoyed Asian markets and making our favorite Thai foods at home.

Thank you for your continued prayers and partnership in the gospel. We love you and hope we can see you soon!

Blessings,

-Jason & Jenn
