@Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok |

Dear Friends
and Family,
Most of you have heard at this
point that we miscarried our 2nd child in the beginning of the month
of March. I had my first appointment in Lopburi at 13 weeks (3 months) pregnant
on Friday, February 28th. The doctor did the ultrasound and there was no
baby. We went to a hospital in Bangkok that Sunday; more tests, another
ultrasound, no baby showing, just a 2cm sac. By late Monday night (March 3rd)
we were flying to an ER at a hospital in Bangkok as I had started to heavily
miscarry (bleed) at the OMF Guest House and was very faint. After the
miscarriage, a D&C was done and then a blood transfusion from the great
loss of blood. We were able to go back to the OMF Guest House that
Wednesday and stayed there for about a week to grieve and process.
A week later we had our follow up appointment. The result of the pathology was that it was a case of blighted ovum.
The pain was a very real thing and it is a great loss indeed. Moriah was pretty confused about it but she is doing pretty well with it now. At one point she asked God to make the baby get better, it was very sweet. She has a very sweet heart. The OMF community has been a HUGE support to us during our time, we are so grateful for them.
We are grateful to Father for how He took care of us during the miscarriage. When the bleeding got bad and Jenn began to feel faint, our Father brought the right people to come in who knew where a good hospital was and had the perfect family for Moriah to stay with for the few days we were at the hospital. We were able to see Father work and take care of us in a very special way. We of course, would appreciate your continued prayers.

In other news…
The money
was raised for the vehicle! We have now completely
bought and brought home the 2002 Isuzu. It has been a huge blessing. Thank you for
your prayers.
More to come
soon!
